Okay now I have to admit that this second puzzle and I haven't been really interacting much. Amanda has a great hold on it and I secretly tip-toe over to Brenda's groups puzzle. I am not in anyway bored I just find that now when we get to class we have so much to work on that I just put my wish to puzzle aside and focus on the work ahead. In terms of relating to teaching I think that as a teacher it is important to allow students who need to focus on specific projects to focus on them but there is also a point in time when a teacher needs to be able to progress and assess what needs to take place in the classroom. I personally needed to focus on lesson plans and unit plans so I would only stay after class to puzzle and I felt disconnected from our puzzle because Amanda had organized it so skillfully that I felt really lost so I would just lean over Kristen or Brenda's puzzles and would look and what I could find. I think that this also reflects what I need to do as a teacher because when I worked with my child workshop I often wanted to take control and help my cousins but rather I need to be available and to assess areas that really require assistance and let those who are excelling excel!
